22 agosto 2009

Franklin, Tenn. – For the third consecutive year, FFA New Horizons has received a Magnum Opus Award. The magazine’s companion website – published by Journal Communications Inc. – was honored with a silver Magnum Opus Award for “Best Publication Companion website.”

“The magazine and website – ffanewhorizons.org – are youthful and interactive in their design, editorial direction and photography. The publication helps communicate the role of agricultural education in preparing young people for more than 300 careers in the diverse industry of agriculture,” says Kim Newsom, vice president of custom publishing. “Members are able to find information – about FFA projects, successful current and former members, college, careers and life skills – in print and online.”

The Magnum Opus Awards are presented by ContentWise and the Missouri School of Journalism and recognize excellence in corporate and custom publishing.
